Paper Magic Wins "Best In Category" Award in International Greeting Card Association Competition

Scranton, PA – June 4, 2003 – The Paper Magic Group was presented with a prestigious LOUIE Award as part of the 15th Annual International Greeting Card Award competition at a gala celebration May 19th at the Manhattan Center in New York City during this year’s National Stationery Show. Paper Magic’s award-winning design, featuring a classic angel illustration, gilt edges and the message, “Peace on Earth...May you be blessed with a season of joy, peace, and love,” was chosen as the best religious boxed card priced $1.25 or under.

In this year’s competition, nearly 1,200 entries in 73 categories from 159 U.S. and international companies of cards marketed and sold in the United States during calendar year 2002 were judged on criteria including imagination, impact, artistry, harmony, sendability and value by a panel of experts representing publishers, designers and retailers. The LOUIE Awards are named after German lithographer Louis Prang, who is credited with the birth of the card industry in the United States.
