Paper Magic Designs Selected as Finalists in International Greeting Card Association Competition
Scranton, PA – May 12, 2003 – Three Paper Magic Christmas card designs were selected as finalists by the Greeting Card Association in the Religious and General Christmas categories as part of the 15th Annual International Greeting Card Award competition, more widely known as the “LOUIE” Awards.
Nearly 1,200 entries in 73 categories from 159 U.S. and international companies of cards marketed and sold in the United States during calendar year 2002 were judged on criteria including imagination, impact, artistry, harmony, sendability and value by a panel of experts representing publishers, designers and retailers. Over 2,500 companies from around the world were invited to submit entries. The LOUIE Awards are named after German lithographer Louis Prang, who is credited with the birth of the card industry in the United States.
“The mission of the LOUIE Awards is to honor creative excellence in the greeting card industry.
